Position Details
As the Business Development Manager for North Alberta, you will be the driving force behind Radius’ growth in an exciting and emerging market. Based in Edmonton, you will be our sole sales professional in the region, with the other Alberta-based sales team member located in Calgary, where our office is based. Supported by our team in BC, you will have autonomy and ownership to shape and grow the North Alberta market, establishing Radius as the trusted name in exterior security.
This is a role for a self-motivated, seasoned sales professional who thrives on independence and making things happen. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored security solutions that exceed expectations.

Compensation: Base salary plus commission, with realistic first-year earnings between $80,000 and $120,000.

Job Description
Lead Generation and Sales Outreach
- Proactively generate leads through daily opportunity ‘cold’ calling, outreach efforts, and by nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations and facilitate appointments, including organizing and conducting Lunch & Learn sessions to educate and engage potential clients.
- Maintain and manage deals in HubSpot, ensuring accurate, real-time updates to support an efficient and transparent sales pipeline.
Client Needs Assessment and Solutions Design
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Lead Technician to develop detailed quotes and cost estimates, conduct site surveys, and design customized security solutions aligned with client requirements
Relationship Management
- Cultivate and strengthen lasting client partnerships through proactive relationship management, and a solutions-focused approach that drives retention and growth.
Networking and Brand Promotion
- Represent the company at trade shows, association events, law enforcement recognition meetings, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and cultivate professional relationships.
Performance and Accountability
- Collaborate in meetings to review performance, align with the team objectives, and maintain accountability to organizational goals and standards.
Other Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with the operations team through regular communication, actively providing and seeking constructive feedback, and consistently demonstrating appreciation for their contributions.
Requirements
