Position Details

As a Security Sales Specialist in our Vancouver market, you will play a key role in driving new business growth while building on Radius’ strong reputation in the industry. This is an opportunity for a true hunter - someone energized by identifying opportunities, opening doors, and turning prospects into long-term partnerships.

Leveraging your sales expertise and understanding of the local market, you will actively pursue new business across target verticals while building meaningful, trust-based relationships with clients. You will work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to deliver tailored exterior security solutions that meet each customer’s unique needs and create lasting value.

Your success will come from a proactive, go-getter mindset - someone who takes initiative, thrives on momentum, and is motivated by achieving results. In this role, your ability to connect with people, build credibility, and consistently pursue opportunities will help expand Radius’ presence in the BC market while strengthening our reputation for reliability, innovation, and excellence. Compensation: Base salary plus commission, with realistic first-year earnings up to $120,000.

Job Description

Lead Generation and Sales Outreach

  • Proactively generate leads through daily opportunity ‘cold’ calling, outreach efforts, and by nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and facilitate appointments, including organizing and conducting Lunch & Learn sessions to educate and engage potential clients.
  • Maintain and manage deals in HubSpot, ensuring accurate, real-time updates to support an efficient and transparent sales pipeline.

Client Needs Assessment and Solutions Design

  • Collaborate closely with Operations to develop detailed quotes and cost estimates, conduct site surveys, and design customized security solutions aligned with client requirements

Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and strengthen lasting client partnerships through proactive relationship management, and a solutions-focused approach that drives retention and growth.

Networking and Brand Promotion

  • Represent the company at trade shows, association events, law enforcement recognition meetings, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and cultivate professional relationships.

Performance and Accountability

  • Collaborate in meetings to review performance, align with the team objectives, and maintain accountability to organizational goals and standards.

Other Responsibilities

  • Foster strong relationships with the operations team through regular communication, actively providing and seeking constructive feedback, and consistently demonstrating appreciation for their contributions.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Proven Sales Success: You’ve mastered the art of selling and consistently crush your goals—proven track record of hitting (and exceeding) sales targets. You thrive on friendly competition and are always fighting to be at the top of the leaderboard.
  • Relationship Builder: You excel at cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships with both customers and internal teams, fostering trust and collaboration every step of the way.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Whether it’s a quick chat or a formal presentation, you know how to speak and write in a way that makes people listen, understand, and act.
  • Presentation Pro: You can command a room and make your message stick—whether you’re pitching to a single client or an entire audience.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers daily, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Management platforms and ability to learn new services in the security space.
  • Self-Motivated, Results-driven & Growth-Minded: You take initiative, prioritize effectively, and know what it takes to get results You’re always looking for fresh ways to innovate, share new ideas, and make a real impact—while building trusted relationships as a security expert clients can rely on.
  • Flexible: Willing and able to travel with out-of-town work as required.
